Shouldn't it be simpler to build an intellectually stimulating and impactful career?

We believe the hard part of research should be the research.

It is a noisy world out there and it is easy to feel isolated. The inquiry and thought that connects you to the larger research enterprise can be buried under administrivia.

Between mentoring, recruiting, grants(wo)manship, collaboration, and everything else that fills your schedule you don’t have time for much. Time management would be ideal, but there are tons of tasks piling up in your inbox even as you read this. You go to bed exhausted just hoping that the next day you can clear your inbox and get some real thinking done. Thinking that will help you elevate your research for the sake of human progress. It’s why you get up in the morning.

We get it, we’ve seen it and we’ve lived it. Their is a better path to the mountaintop.

We are both PhDs. We have over 30 years of experience in and around academia. Our roles have varied from center Directors to editors to research professors. We work for major R1 institutions and with people who are members of the national academies. We are in this with you.
